Oklahoma Native Asher HaVon Takes the Crown
Oklahoma native Asher HaVon was crowned the winner of "The Voice" on Tuesday, May 22, 2024 at 2:35 PM PT. McEntire, a Country Music Hall of Famer and Golden Globe-nominated actress, and John Legend, a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, were among the three other finalists on the reality show.
McEntire and Legend both made it to the final four of the competition, but were ultimately eliminated before HaVon emerged as the winner. HaVon's victory marks the first time an Oklahoma native has won the show.
McEntire has been a coach on "The Voice" since the show's first season in 2011. She has won the competition three times with her team members. Legend joined the show as a coach in season 16.
